As Purchasing Manager, you own and evolve the demand forecasting logic and ensure optimal inventory health for our health tech product portfolio. This role focuses on automation, data-driven inventory control, and supplier enablement. No pricing responsibility.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Demand Planning (Own brand Focused)
   Leverage automated daily forecasting tools; continuously refine forecasting logic for accuracy.
   Align demand plans with suppliers only for own brand products.
   Incorporate ad-hoc promotions and marketing pushes into forecast adjustments.
   KPI: Lead time optimization for restocks and launches.
   Push suppliers toward self-service operations: enforce QR stamping, invoice digitalization readiness, and accurate lot/date labeling.
2. Inventory Health Management
   Optimize inventory levels via hedging controls and internal transfers between warehouses.
   Minimize excess while maximizing availability.
   Monitor turnover, slow-movers, and product lifecycles.
   KPI: Fulfillment rate vs inventory value.
3. Data & Process Improvement
   Use ERP and data tools to monitor trends, detect risks, and guide actions.
   Generate clear dashboards on forecast accuracy, inventory KPIs, and transfer effectiveness.
   Identify gaps and lead continuous improvement in planning and warehouse coordination.

Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s in Supply Chain, Business, or related field. Master’s preferred.
– 5+ years in demand planning or inventory management in health tech, med device, or pharma.
– Strong experience with forecast automation tools, inventory systems, and transfer logistics.
– Analytical mindset with strong execution discipline.
– Clear communicator who drives vendor ownership and accountability.
