As the Tech Lead – SX & Operations, you will lead the development and maintenance of highly scalable, efficient, and automated systems that optimize seller experience, warehouse workflows, and transportation operations. You will work closely with Product, Operations, and Logistics teams to enhance fulfillment speed, inventory accuracy, and seller platform capabilities. This role requires a strong technical leader who can scale operations technology, drive process automation, and improve overall system reliability while leading a squad focused on continuous improvement, automation, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Seller Center Development – Lead the development of Buymed’s Seller Center, ensuring a smooth onboarding experience, intuitive dashboard, and robust performance tracking for sellers.
• Warehouse Management System (WMS) – Enhance inventory tracking, inbound/outbound processes, and automation for efficient warehouse operations.
• Transportation Management System (TMS) – Develop and maintain route optimization, real-time tracking, and fleet management tools to improve delivery efficiency.
• Operational Efficiency & Automation – Drive process automation across fulfillment, logistics, and seller operations to reduce costs and increase throughput.
• Scalability & Performance – Ensure system reliability and scalability to support high transaction volumes and expanding logistics operations.
• Collaboration – Work closely with Logistics, Supply Chain, Product, and Engineering teams to improve fulfillment workflows and seller experiences.
• Monitoring & Troubleshooting – Implement real-time monitoring, predictive maintenance, and data-driven insights to proactively resolve system bottlenecks.
• Mentorship & Code Quality – Lead by example, ensuring high-quality code, conducting code reviews, and mentoring engineers in system design and best practices.

Requirements

Must-Have:

• 5+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 2 years in a Tech Lead role.
• Strong experience in backend and distributed systems, with expertise in GoLang.
• Proven experience in scalable microservices, API design, and event-driven architectures.
• Solid experience with microservices architecture and distributed system patterns
• Strong system design skills for high-traffic, high-availability applications
• Proficient in concurrency handling
• Proven ability to lead a squad focused on continuous improvement, automation, and operational efficiency.
• Strong knowledge of database design, caching strategies, and high-availability systems.
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (GCP) and DevOps best practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on scalability and system performance.

Nice-to-Have:

• Experience working in eCommerce, logistics, supply chain, or B2B marketplaces.
• Experience with AI-driven demand forecasting, dynamic pricing, or fleet optimization models.
• Exposure to real-time event processing and analytics-driven decision-making.
