Job Description:
We are looking for an Accounting Manager/Assistant, based in Thailand to supervise, track and evaluate day-to-day activities. He/she will be responsible for establishing financial status by developing and implementing systems for collecting, analysing, verifying, and reporting information.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with external vendor to manage the day-to-day accounting functions, including AP/AR, GL and bank reconciliations
- Support the external vendor in preparing accurate and timely financial statements and report
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations
- Provide financial analysis and insights to support decision making by the management team
- Collaborate with department heads to prepare financial forecast and manage annual budgets
- Streamline the accounting procedures internally for seamless process
- Coordinate and manage audits to ensure compliance with the requirements and standard
Requirements:
- BS degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
- At least 8 years of working experience in accounting roles, with a focus on financial management and reporting
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations and compliance
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Advanced computer skills in MS Office, accounting software and databases
- Experience with MS Dynamic and QuickBooks are highly preferred
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy
- Proficient in written/spoken English to liaise with English speaking counterparts
