Accounting Manger/ Assistant

Job Description: 

We are looking for an Accounting Manager/Assistant, based in Thailand to supervise, track and evaluate day-to-day activities. He/she will be responsible for establishing financial status by developing and implementing systems for collecting, analysing, verifying, and reporting information.  

Responsibilities: 

  • Work closely with external vendor to manage the day-to-day accounting functions, including AP/AR, GL and bank reconciliations 
  • Support the external vendor in preparing accurate and timely financial statements and report 
  • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations 
  • Provide financial analysis and insights to support decision making by the management team 
  • Collaborate with department heads to prepare financial forecast and manage annual budgets  
  • Streamline the accounting procedures internally for seamless process 
  • Coordinate and manage audits to ensure compliance with the requirements and standard 

Requirements: 

  • BS degree in Accounting, Finance or related field 
  • At least 8 years of working experience in accounting roles, with a focus on financial management and reporting 
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations and compliance 
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills 
  • Advanced computer skills in MS Office, accounting software and databases 
  • Experience with MS Dynamic and QuickBooks are highly preferred  
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills 
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy  
  • Proficient in written/spoken English to liaise with English speaking counterparts
