As a Financial Analyst, you will work closely with senior stakeholders providing analysis to track and improve performance. Perform a wide range of duties that may include, but are not limited to:
- Prepare and assist in financial modelling, financial analysis, valuation, and risk analysis of companies
- Provide analysis between budget/actual, propose recommendations for decision making on a timely basis.
- Prepare a what-if (or scenarios) analysis to identify the impact of market fluctuation on Budget and future forecast.
- Advise management on decisions such as how to improve performance, minimize risk, optimize costs or capture new opportunities from both within the company and within the external environment.
- Compare actual results with forecast to analyze and identify areas of strengths and weakness
- Recommend actions and suggest insights by analyzing and interpreting data
- Update and prepare new financial templates.
- Prepare ad hoc financial analysis as required by Management
- Perform other tasks assigned by line manager.
Requirements
- Attained a Business/Finance degree with preference given to those with relevant further study/designations (CGA/CMA/CA)
- Minimum of 2 – 3 years’ experience as a senior financial analyst, financial analyst, or in a similar position
- Advanced skills and experience in MS Office ExcelIntellectually strong – a good strategic thinker with good commercial acumen and judgment
- Excellent analytical/numerical skills – including strong attention to detail and advanced Excel skill
